Probably end Jan 2016, GSP – Lack of Alertness, Believing all others are the Guru, saying sorry The exact date was not recorded. I was in GSP after a long gap. My sadhna for well over a decade had become zero. Thoughts of my inept and indolent life and utter lack of sadhana consumed me. I internally repeatedly apologized for my state of sheer neglect to Shri Guru, to Baba and to Bade Baba. I would pray that I am willing and happy to start over from scratch, and be allowed to. Then at one point the following flow suddenly emerged from within and was hastily noted down.
The words of the immaculate Lord, piercing, true, yet supportive, were:
“Yes, it has been strange how you let things slip and drift so much. Your alertness was nil. Your self control was minus. You may say that you will start again from scratch. But that never happens. You begin again from somewhere in the line. I don’t need to say much more. Now don’t you ever slip even once more. Now don’t you let yourself go even once more. Now leave the flesh alone. Keep your focus on Me. And believe that I am the person in front of you. Believe it. There is no “or else”. Believe it. And behave from that belief. Now, never even once lose your alertness. Not even once. Not even just once. It’s finished. It’s over. Live like that. And you will never have to say sorry again. Ever. To Me. To Baba. To Bade Baba. To no one. The time of ‘sorry’ is over and past. Live within Me as Me”.

04 Feb 2016, GSP – How to allow the mind to turn within, how to practice Silence Question offered to the lotus feet of Shri Guru – What can I do to allow the mind to turn within again and again to let it experience its own inner silence?
As emerged then from Shri Guru: “You can keep your focus on Me because I am the inner silence of the mind, and in that way you will experience Me and My state of joy and bliss. So all you have to do is to keep your focus on Me and do it as much as you can, and in fact do it all the time.”
Next contemplation. Question offered to the lotus feet of Shri Guru – How will I sustain the practice of silence during the retreat?
As emerged then from Shri Guru: “You will sustain the practice of silence by keeping a constant focus on Me. I am at the very epicenter of silence and as and when your focus is on Me, you experience complete silence.
So, throughout the retreat sustain the practice of silence through keeping your entire focus on Me. Think only of Me. Dwell only on Me.
I will then make you silent and share My state of bliss and joy with you.”

05 Feb 2016, GSP Q. Question offered to the lotus feet of Shri Guru – ‘O Master, great Guru, what was my meditation experience just now?’
As emerged then from Shri Guru: “O Virender, this was a very beautiful meditation experience. Thank you. I loved your bhava and your sweet beneficial prayer like dharana. Just this much is needed, no more. That should do for now.”

06 Feb 2016, GSP – Breath and Meditation Q. This question on the breath was put to the lotus feet of the Master: ‘What can I learn about the breath from Gurumayiji’s guidance?’
Response that emerged was: “The breath makes or mars your meditation. The quieter it is, the slower it gets, the deeper your meditation The stiller your mind, the sweeter your connection with the Guru within. By focusing on the breath we also focus on the prana Shakti and so invoke Her blessings and grace. The meditation becomes fully supported by grace.”

06 Feb 2016, GSP – How the Breath supports Meditation Question put to the lotus feet of the noble Master after a meditation, ‘What was the meditation experience, and how did breath support me to connect to the power of meditation to experience the Heart?’
As emerged then from Shri Guru: “Meditation is rarely as sweet as this was. It was exceptional. Your focus on the mind stuff was complete, albeit for not so long as I may have wanted it to be. Use this technique again and again. Build on it and let it become established as a practice. I will support you in this, always.”
And, continuing on the second part: “The breath either denies you the experience of the Heart, which is Me, the Self, or it gives you a brilliant experience.
The more settled it is, the more genuinely sweet and wondrous the experience of focus on, and experience of the oneness with, Me, the Self.
So always use the breath as a joyous tool – it is also a form of Me, the breath. Use it gently – the breath. Respect it – the breath. Love it – the breath.
“Not only does it keep you alive, but it creates a pathway to Me as the Self. The choice is yours, how to use the breath.”

08 Feb 2016, GSP – Being pulled up for failing Shri Guru, a very deep Education A Most Important Contemplative Meditation Experience
Closing my eyes, and determining the focus of this meditation, I selected the bhavas of self control and faith in Shri Guru for this contemplation. As if in a flash, I was immediately pulled into the deepest of states, bit my hand to stop myself from screaming, I was drawn lean forward almost below my knees, twisted torso with head turned facing upwards, eyes closed in inner deepness, trying to look through closed eyes above the sahasrar region. All this happened in less than a split second.
Immediately my most noble Master, my most beloved Gurumayiji, spoke to me thus: “Do you have faith in Me? (I replied ‘yes’, haltingly, uncertain) Do you believe I will handle everything? (‘Yes’ – still uncertain).
Then the holy Master continued: “All these people here – (implied others in the Hall) They have much more devotion than you. (Yes, Master). They have much more love than you. (Yes, Master). They have much more discipline than you. (Yes, Master). They do more seva than you. (Yes, Master). And they have much more faith than you. (Yes, Master). So you should know that. (Yes, Master). So go now.”
This is amongst the most important instructions received by me through contemplative meditation

09 Feb, 2016. GSP – Need for consistent Sadhna and Bhava, Keeping focus on the Guru, Guru must be the First Priority in Life, Retaining incessant focus on the Guru, Letting the Guru take charge Three contemplations are placed below. Question placed deeply at the lotus feet of the Master was, ‘How was I when I and how am I now? What change is there in me now?
Emerging reply from Shri Guru. “When you arrived you were hesitant and unsure after the long spell away and the life as led since a decade or more. You were unsure of what would be the Guru’s way of looking at you, and how you would restart a stalled sadhana. You were eager to somehow make it back into Her fold.
“Now you know that your position with the Guru is very stable. Her love for you is as strong as ever. At the same time Her expectations of your adhering to practices and sadhana and how you think of and treat others has not changed. You have to live up to it, reinforced by the Retreat experience.“
Next question placed deeply at the lotus feet of the Master was, ‘Looking at my progress what directions for my sadhana apply now?’
Emerging reply from Shri Guru. “Looking at you this much is clear that your sadhana has to become absolutely consistent. You have to do the practices every day, without fail and no exceptions.
You have to look at everyone in your life as one more form of the Guru. Worship them all as Shiva.
Maintain the highest bhava. Maintain the highest self discipline and maintain the highest self control and alertness. Meditate daily, at least one hour. Chant all the time.
And think only of Me all the time. At every second think only of Me. That is the immediate direction your sadhana must take.“
Next, a question placed deeply at the lotus feet of the Master was, ‘What additional directions and guidance do I need for my sadhana?
Emerging reply from Shri Guru. “Your direction and guidance is only one – keep your focus on Me. At all times keep your focus on Me. Keep only Me in your thoughts. Keep only My image in your mind. Do not let any other thought or image enter your mind or awareness. And keep doing the practices every day, as mentioned by Me in the immediately preceding question that you just asked Me.
If you do this, I will be guiding you at every step and showing you the direction to take.
I must become the first priority in your life. You should not have any other priority whatsoever.
At any stage should you have a doubt then refer to Me and ask Me and contemplate. I will let you know.
By now you have seen all your old stored notes. They are to be read by you daily, again and again, without fail. It has to be a daily exercise. Take them with you wherever you go. And abide by them.
Finally follow whatever you are directed to do. Listen to all that I tell you. Let Me take charge of all aspects of your life – your sadhana, your family, your affairs of money – everything. Just keep asking me all the time and do as you are directed.
Let this be the immediate direction of your sadhana.“

29 March 2016, Dehradun – A personal Guidance Personal matter. After much thought it is being left here. Matter placed before Shri Guru with bountiful prayers and request: ‘How can I manage to sell this Dehradun house matching the requirements of my sisters and my own and what my family wants from it for Delhi which I also wish for as that can give me a high degree of freedom to spend time in service of Shri Guru, my Master, whether at GSP or however She feels it should be done.’ This was prayerfully placed at the lotus feet of Shri Guru. My thoughts of travel to GSP and USA were also mentioned by me and that the children may not like it. So I sought Her grace and guidance.
Response as emerged: “O Virender, I have heard the prayer and will look at it. You will be told what to do. Till then you may continue as you will. Go to GSP or travel to USA. Explain to the children and tell them to understand. It will be done. It will be done. So go now. Go in peace in love. You are dear to me.”
