11 March 2020, Princeton, NJ – The Guru protects, the Guru assures, bestows love and peace Prayer to the Lotus Feet: O Shri Guru, Aap ji kay kamal charan ki jai ho. Glory to Thy lotus feet. Salutations at Thy lotus feet, O beloved Master. Salutations again and again and again. Always salutations to Thy lotus feet, to Thy grace, to Thy compassion. At this moment in time with the new virus spreading fast all around us, I pray to Thy lotus feet for protection, O noble Master. Protection for my family – here in USA where I am temporarily, and back in India where rest of family – my wife, son and his family are. Here in Princeton is my daughter and her family. Pray grant Thy benevolent glance of protection on us all. And, O dear, beloved, indwelling Lord, pray guide me about my return to India. I am booked on 28 March for flight back to India from Newark. Pray guide me whether I should return earlier. My medical cover is only in India. Here I will run out of the little protection that my travel insurance covers by 30 March. I offer my prayer at Thy lotus feet, O Shri Guru. You are my one protecting Lord, my only deity. Pray, strengthen me, protect my family and me and pray guide me on my departure back. I offer the above humbly at Thy lotus feet. O beloved Shri Guru, my beloved Master, Chidvilasananda, Lord of the Universe.
Flow in response from Shri Guru, then itself: “O Virender, I am seized of your prayers. Do not fear for your family. Your family will be protected and though there may be some sickness here and there, they will be well. Trust in that. (Thank You, my Lord, thank You). For your return to India, take your decision and leave the rest to me. Yes, do return soon and in no case delay your return beyond March. (date got missed)
“Go in peace. I love you dearly and you are special to Me. Go now and be calm. Be in peace. Be joyous. Remain in God’s love. Remain in the gaze of God. Keep looking within and find God looking forever at you with great empathy and love. I am that love. I am that protection. I am you. So go now and be completely in peace and calm. SGNMKJ .”
Thank You, O beloved Master, O beloved Shri Guru, O most dearest Lord. My God. My Shri Guru. Thank You for Your grace, Your protection and guidance. Thank You. SGNMKJ.

27 Sep 2020, Dehradun – On Importance of Swadhyaya, What Swadhyaya actually is, why chanting Scriptures loudly is so important, how Swadhyaya purifies us This and two more contemplations below were discovered in July 2023, having been forgotten with notes unattended for multiple reasons. On 27 Sep there was a live online session on Swadhyaya, which related to what the words of our scriptures actually are, the benefits of their being read aloud, etc., I undertook the following contemplation on the importance of chanting scriptures, i.e. swadhyaya:
Prayer to the Lotus Feet of Shri Guru: ‘O beloved Master divine, my most precious indwelling Lord, Shri Guru, salutations at Thy lotus feet. Pray tell me, O Lord, what is the importance of Swadhyaya sadhna for me?’
Flow in response from Shri Guru, then: “O Virender, So you are back finally, after so long.
“Swadhyaya is key to you and the whole human race that wants to learn about God, to imbibe God, to become God even as they live or after they depart.
“Swadhyaya has the Energy of the divine.
“The Indian scriptures are spoken divinity put into writing by the sages of yore. To read them and to recite them loudly we recreate the sound vibrations that were created when the words were first spoken by divinity to Its own Self. The vibrations are very powerful.
“Their constant recitation aloud, their constant repetition is what becomes the force that bit by bit erases all our past karmas.
“Past karmas are resident impressions caused by our past words, thoughts and actions. They are indeed the memories themselves that tend to replay themselves again and again with the same kind of associated energy, usually very negative.
“So the loud repetition of swadhyaya is like giving the past memories a bath in a powerful energetic detergent that washes them away, clears them, nullifies them, removes every trace of them.
“Know this, Virender, that the collection of memories built due to associations and attachments is exactly what prevents us from linking up and joining the Self as a part of the Self.
“The purity of the Self is so strong that it retains no memories.
“While It Itself has done everything that happens in creation, and It knows what It has done, yet It retains no trace of the memories. Such is Its purity.
“We the human beings, and all other beings, are creations of the Self to enjoy Its own being, to know and relish Its own Self, Its unlimited and unimpeded Self.
“This may seem as not being much, but it is the very cause of the existence of nature. The Self creates within Its own being, by Its own Self, by Its own energy. To experience all this about the Self is the experiencing of our own nature,
“And this is the role of Swadhyaya.
“Swadhyaya is the great means, the tool of power that saints and sages have resorted to over millennia.
“The vibrations go through our entire physicality in our subtle energy body just like one tuning fork to another. That simple act starts scores of memories to align with the flow of energy. That is the cleansing, the purification.
Now that you know this, Virender, use it. Do swadhyaya, for they are so important.”
O Lord, thank you Shri Guru. SGNMKJ.

11 Oct 2020, Dehradun – Shri Guru gives me an Affirmation to suit me There was a study session on line in which the teachings also focused on Affirmations in sadhana. After the session was over guidance was sought from Shri Guru in a contemplation as below:
Prayer to the Lotus Feet of Shri Guru: ‘O Shri Guru, beloved Master, salutations at Thy lotus feet. Pray tell me, O Lord, what is the suited Affirmation for me now?’
Flow in response from Shri Guru, then: “The affirmation for you now, O Virender, is –
‘I am a lover of the lotus feet of my beloved Shri Guru. I follow all instructions of Shri Guru. I offer seva to Shri Guru in everything I do, making everything an opportunity for seva.
‘I am a blessed being. I see everyone else, bar no one, as equally blessed beings. I see them all as myself, a part of myself. An extension of myself.
‘I am the great Lord. Only I exist as everyone and everything else. I am responsible for everything I see, I do or I hear.
‘I am at the best moment of my life. All my desires are manifesting.
‘My gratitude to Shri Guru and the divine is endless. My gratitude to God is what makes me a humble being.
‘I am an instrument in the hands of God. I am an instrument of Shri Guru
‘I belong completely to the Siddhas. I am owned completely by the Siddhas. I am a tool of the Siddhas.’ “
Received as an act of grace from the Master, I will now affirm this daily.

18 Oct 2020, Dehradun – About affirmations in sadhna, Gurumayiji gives another affirmation to practice daily After an online session covering many teachings, I offered a contemplation to the lotus feet of Shri Guru regarding Affirmations.
Prayer to the Lotus Feet of Shri Guru: ‘O beloved Lord, salutations to Thee. Please O beloved Heart, guide me on the affirmation best suited for sadhna and on becoming one with the Self. Please guide me on an affirmation to the breath that guides me to you, to all others. Thank you, O beloved Master.
Flow in response from Shri Guru: “O Virender, you yourself are the biggest affirmation of the Self. You are the biggest glory of the Self. So, make your affirmation the highest.
“Like:
‘I am the glory of the Self. I am the Self. I am the fullness of the Self. I am completely the Self. I am the Self in all others. I am all others. My prana is the Self. Verily, my prana is the prana of the Self. I am the Atman. I am That. My prana, when controlled, automatically reveals and makes me the Self. My prana is everyone else’s prana. They are all extensions of my being.
‘I revere my prana. Prana exists, so I exist. I love my prana.’
“All said and done – here, use this affirmation:
‘I am the Prana, the Universal Self, the one God, the sole existing Energy. Indeed I am all.’
“Use this daily, throughout the day. That by itself is sufficient. So practice that. And go now.”
‘SGNMKJ. Thank You O beloved Shri Guru. Thank you for this most holy guidance. Thank you, my beloved Lord, my beloved Master. Thank you and pranaam.’
