LESSONS / TEACHINGS FROM BOOKS BY NEALE DONALD WALSCH
Neale Donald Walsch has written a series of remarkable books containing a series of inner dialogues that he has had in the current modern era with God. The four books of the “Conversation With God” series are most commonly known, the fourth of which is an exhortation by God that humans must try and save their species; it is uncertain. The best part is that the language used by God, at the request of Walsch, is simple as compared to the language in ancient texts across the globe. However, the truths are amazing and something the human race continues to ignore to its peril.
While all his books are commendable for their guiding inner flows from God to Walsch meant for the whole of the human species, two books after the Conversations with God books are outstanding in what God would like the human species to learn and understand and bring into their lives if they desire to save the species which, on the scale of the Universe has barely evolved to the stage of toddlers or adolescents, though human beings, and I am part of that, think too much of their achievements. These two books are “Home With God” and “The New Revelations”.
Whatever God has said to Mr Walsch has much in common with the deeper foundations of Indian spiritual thought and it is remarkable how the teachings of Siddha Yoga are in consonance with how God would have human beings evolve, both for themselves as a species, and to save the planet. In one book God has clearly said that one or more earlier versions of humans on the planet have been wiped out because of their inability to handle technology.
While reading his books, especially the four Conversations with God, Home with God and The New Revelations, is to be commended to all seekers, few of the lessons extracted from them are typed out below. However, the full extent of God’s revelations is best obtained by reading the books starting with the four Conversations with God books
Readers of these books will discern for themselves how much there is in common in what God says in them with the teachings that flow from Gurumayiji and our Siddha Masters. Our practices in Siddha Yoga exactly take us on the path to greatness and oneness.
Thank you, Shri Guru.
Some of the Lessons and Teachings
BE THE SOURCE Be the Source of that which you want. If you want love, be the source of love to others. If you want companionship, be a companion to others who need it. If you want money, be the source of money to others; give away money.
When the Universe finds that you are giving to others then it starts giving more of the same to you, ensuring that it never finishes for you – you want it for others, not yourself.
This how masters become Masters. They give away to others and the Universe supplies them with enough of it because their motivation is to be a flow through for others so that they, all others, have enough in abundance and live life more abundantly. Share whatever you have in abundance. It may not be money, it can be kindness, love, compassion. Share with others who may not be having enough of that. Be the Source of that for others.
FIND TIMES IN YOUR LIFE WHEN YOU EXPRESSED YOURSELF AT THE LEVEL OF MASTERY There has to be a moment in your life when you said or did something that only a master would do. Find those and relive them. Relive that feeling, knowing who you actually were.
RISE TO THE OCCASION EVERY TIME That is an evidence of Mastery. Allow other people to experience the Mastery that you have just exhibited.
WHAT YOU RESIST PERSISTS But that which you look at with the eyes of the soul disappears, it loses its illusory form.
SEE THE PERFECTION. BE THE PERFECTION God says that you are experiencing and expressing the essence of who you really are in order to experience the Perfection. See, in the absence of that which we are not, that which we are, is not, i.e., it cannot be experienced. You can only experience perfection when something around is not perfect so that the perfection stands out.
So, to be the light you can only know it if there was darkness around. So, to let us experience perfection, to experience the light, God surrounds us with darkness. So, God says do not curse the darkness but use the darkness to know that who you are. Become a light to the darkness. So that then all others who see you know who you are and by the light of your example know who they are as well.
In day-to-day life how to do this – God said use ‘gratitude’. Make gratitude the attitude. Our job is to be thankful for every condition and circumstance of life, no matter how difficult or imperfect it may seem to be, because it is perfectly designed and perfectly called out by you and everyone else in a perfectly collaborative way so that you can use it as an opportunity to express perfection. If you wanted to express love, kindness, caring, compassion then would you not need any conditions in which to express kindness, compassion, love or caring, forgiving?
The higher the level of Mastery that you call for the higher and more widespread will be the difficult condition in which you could get a chance to feel and demonstrate that love, caring, forgiveness, harmony, peace, compassion or kindness which you actually are. But if you judge it or resist it then it will be insurmountable. So, you have to accept and embrace that surrounding adverse situation and be grateful for it because it is one more occasion in which to live and demonstrate that who you really are.
That is why all the great teachers have always said bless, bless, bless those who persecute you and be a light unto the darkness and curse the darkness not.
If a man asks for a shirt give him your coat. And if the world is collapsing around you that is the time to thank God for the chance to demonstrate what you are and show others that they can know who they are too and can then be like you. So do not deny the condition you have because it is denying the gift from God to demonstrate that which you are – and then the conditions will persist. So, look at the condition and accept it and it will dissolve and go away.
So, give away that which you wish to receive and share that which you think you do not have enough of. In this way some of the worse things that happen to us can turn out to be the best thing that happened to us. Go with what God is giving at any moment and accept the situation and people God has placed there. Stop condemning what is going on. This will remove anger, hatred, etc., from our lives. Treat others as angels. God said “I have sent you nothing but angels.”
YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THE PROCESS OF LIFE Many people make life intolerable if they feel they are alone. Emotional loneliness is the biggest problem that people face today. At cellular level we are not alone, but that everything is a part of us. A critical spiritual emergency is to not know we are all one, all are together. When we experience the opposite situations, those are the worst feelings we can have. So, hold as true that we are never alone. The divine, God, is always with us. There is no place or situation where God is not. So, God in His highest Self is always with us. If we accept that God is always with us, then God’s revealing His constant presence will multiply.
Be the source that God is present in their lives to others. Show other people that God is with them, then that is the fundamental purpose of life. So let others feel the presence of God in their lives through you.
GOD WILL ALWAYS DEMONSTRATE GOD-NESS At all times Divinity expresses Itself and surrounds us.
For humans God says that your life now has nothing to do with you. It is for others. Your life has to do with everyone whose life you touch.
You are done and finished. You have evolved completely and have no more growing to do.
Let others feel that God has arrived in their lives because you are there. Say it to others and show it to them.
All God does is remind Itself of Itself by being Itself. That is all. “I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly.” If we all do all this, then all other things will fall into place. |
