j. Dakshina (https://www.siddhayoga.org/practices/dakshina   Donating with love is a foremost spiritual practice. There is deep spiritual intent behind the giving of ‘daan‘, i.e. offering a donation. When the Shakti sees that you are freely able to, with open heart, give some of your wealth away, then the Shakti creates more opportunities for you to do so. The offering to the source of spiritual access, such as to the Guru, is particularly significant. Equally important is any donation to the very poor, the homeless or the helpless, or to agencies that genuinely work for suc a cause. Such gestures invoke and invite the Universal Energy to support the person(s) making them. In Siddha Yoga the dakshina offered to the Guru is a key practice. It supports the organisation, it supports the offerer, it pleases the inner Shakti. This web page has more.
