= Om Gurumayiji = EXTRAORDINARY SPIRITUAL EVENT in BABA’s SAMADHI SHRINE .
22 July 2016 – a profound SY Meditation Experience in Baba Muktananda’s Samadhi Shrine
In 1995, during a talk in Shri Muktananda Ashram, Shri Gurumayiji said, ” … In Baba’s presence, you saw God…”
The experience below is an experienced demonstration of the truth in Her words:
It was a couple of days after Guru Purnima, 2016. My seva visit at GSP, Ganeshpuri, was soon to end. As usual, by 4 am I was at Baba’s Samadhi Shrine as it opened, to pay obeisance and meditate.
Baba is seated in his Samadhi Shrine facing east, which direction was to my left as I sat facing Baba.
At one point, in what must have been a very deep meditative state, I suddenly perceived a loud announcement. The announcement was in English, it was perceived in the state of meditation.
The announcement said thus:
“Lord Vishnu is here”
Almost immediately, in that deep meditative state, I perceived an immense Presence, incapable of being described by me, approaching from the east, seemingly descending as It approached. The Presence halted to my left and settled in front of Baba.
I could only discern an immensity with no discernible beginning or end, no discernible dimensions to Its left or right, above or below. But for the announcement I would not have known what It was.
Accepting the announcement, I immediately started praying to Lord Vishnu, thanking Him for His immense grace and for having come there and for allowing me to have His darshan. I prayed with a deep sense of gratitude and prayed for protection of Shri Guru and Her parampara.
Engrossed in this prayer in deep meditation, at one point I sensed that the Lord was readying to depart and just then I suddenly realized that there was a sort of an indistinguishable line or an indistinguishable differentiation within that Immensity, towards the Lord’s left side. Sensing that Devi Mahalaxmi was with Him, within Him and towards His left, I immediately apologized to Her for having failed to recognize Her and sought Her forgiveness. I thanked Her for having also come and as I was praying to Her the immense Lord, beyond any description or words, started to move back exactly as He had come. Very soon He and the Devi had faded away, moving back up towards a distant east.
Still in meditation, and while still offering prayers and gratitude to them, suddenly another similar loud announcement was perceived, also in English and also heard in the state of meditation. This second announcement was thus:
“Lord Shiva is here along with Lord Ganesha”
Once again, a huge, unimaginably vast and entirely indescribable Presence came in a like manner from the east, to my left, approaching down at a slight angle from some vast distance and halted in front of Baba ji. This time the line or appearance of a differentiation within Lord Shiva and to His left side was discerned by me instantly. (I have no way to describe the distinction because there was no distinction nor any line as such, it was just a sense of a Presence within the Presence). I felt with certainty that Devi Parvati was with the Lord, and to His left.
Additionally, there was another Presence, again indescribable and vast that had also come, but seemed to be separate, ever so marginally removed. It was to the left of Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati, but was clearly perceived to be of a somewhat smaller magnitude. It was clear to me this was Lord Ganesha for His name had also been announced.
As mentioned, I could again discern only the immensity of magnitude beyond description. I could not discern features as we normally associate with depictions of the divine Lords. Just an unimaginable energetic presence of Divinity that I cannot explain or describe. It was there and had arrived.
I immediately offered deepest gratitude to Lord Shiva and to the Devi. I thanked them for the generosity of their holiest grace. Then I prayed to Lord Ganesha and offered my deepest gratitude to Him for being there with Lord Shiva and prayed to Him and to Lord Shiva and the supreme Devi for their grace in protecting my Shri Guru and Her lineage and parampara. I prayed for blessings of peace and protection of all of us human beings. I extolled the supreme virtues of the supreme Lord, the Devi and Lord Ganesha, and paid deep obeisance to Them.
Very soon They started departing back exactly as they had come from the east and even as they departed, I kept praying to them and thanking them.
I thanked Babaji for His immense grace in granting me this supreme darshan of our beloved Deities. It was Baba’s and Shri Guru’s immense grace that I could, in Baba’s presence, perceive the supreme Lords and Devis whom we worship in our hearts. What fortune that, by the grace of the supreme Master, I was empowered to witness the visit by Lords Shiva and Vishnu to Baba.
Shortly thereafter I came out of the meditation. Fellow devotees in the Samadhi Shrine were meditating very peacefully and quietly as before. Bowing repeatedly to Baba ji and with profuse expressions of gratitude, I got up and left for the Annapurna.
My deepest salutations to the most noble Master, my beloved Shri Guru, by whose grace this experience was given me. May She ever remain protected, and Siddha Yoga be ever protected and flourish.
